Dear Sprouts Families,

Texas Governor Greg Abbott amended his Executive Order calling for all schools to remain closed in the state of Texas through the end of the school year. This means HEB ISD facilities will be closed; and therefore, Sprouts Preschool will follow HEB ISD and remain closed for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year.

Sprouts Preschool Staff is very sad and will miss seeing all their little sprouts for the remainder of the year.  We will continue to provide you with daily engagements for your lil’ Sprouts as well as videos on Facebook, Emails and use of the Brightwheel App.  As the original end of school year date approaches, we will be reaching out to all our Sprouts families for an opportunity to pick up all end of school year gifts, projects and crafts your teachers have been storing.

Continuing to Pray for our Sprouts community!  If you have not yet registered for the 2020-21 school year, we are still accepting registration digitally.  Please email sprouts@firsthurst.com or go to our website www.sprouts-preschool.com for all the registration forms.

If you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Blessings,

Dear Sprouts Families,

Texas Governor Greg Abbott amended his Executive Order calling for all schools to remain closed in the state of Texas until May 4th. This means HEB ISD facilities will be closed until May 4; and therefore, Sprouts Preschool will follow HEB ISD and remain closed until May 4.

Governor Abbott was joined by Texas Department of State Health Services Commissioner John Hellerstedt, MD, Texas Division of Emergency Management Chief Nim Kidd, and Texas Education Agency Commissioner Mike Morath. The Executive Order for Texas mirrors an announcement recently by President Donald Trump.

“Now is not the time to let up our distancing efforts,” Governor Abbott said. “Now is the time to redouble our efforts to make sure we do more to stop the spread of COVID-19.”

Sprouts Preschool Staff will continue to provide you with daily engagements for your lil’ Sprouts as well as videos on Facebook, Emails and use of the Brightwheel App.  We are still praying to return for the end of the school year but will continue to follow HEB on their closures.

Continuing to Pray for our Sprouts community!  If you have not yet registered for the 2020-21 school year we are still accepting registration digitally.  Please email sprouts@firsthurst.com or go to our website www.sprouts-preschool.com for all the registration forms.

Dear Sprouts Families,

Here we are at another week of this Coronavirus Pandemic.  Sprouts Staff pray that you all are enjoying time with your families and making memories during this quarantine time of “Stay Home, Work Safe”.  We all miss seeing all our lil’ Sprouts families each day and pray that we are flattening the curve sooner than later so we can all be back together soon.

After consulting with Tarrant County Health officials, HEB ISD is joining other area school districts in extending our emergency closure. To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, HEB ISD will be closed through April 17. Therefore, Sprouts Preschool will follow alongside HEB District and will be closed through April 17.  All tuition payments have been canceled for this time.

We will continue to monitor the district and follow them as they make the best decisions on the health and safety of our community.  In the meantime, continue to follow the Sprouts Facebook page and Brightwheel App.  Our teachers are working hard at keeping your kiddos learning and growing from their homes.

We will be posting a new daily activity for the whole school to participate in, and be sure to send photos to your child’s teachers as well as commenting on the post on Facebook.  We love seeing all our lil’ Sprouts faces.  We love you all and continue to pray protection over each of your families.  Please let us know if we can support you in any need during this time.

Blessings,
Laura and Stacy

Dear Sprouts Families,

As you may be aware, several school districts have announced that they are extending spring break for two weeks to help stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus. After collaborating with state and county health officials, school officials determined this was a necessary step to keep students and staff safe.

Therefore, Sprouts Preschool will follow the HEB ISD closure schedule as stated in our policy handbook. Sprouts will be closed March 16-27. We will be monitoring the situation and will keep you posted on further closures and developments pertaining to Sprouts.

The April tuition payment will be adjusted to reflect a 50% decrease for the month of April.  If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me or our Sprouts Directors.

Thank you for your patience and trust in Sprouts and First Baptist Hurst. We recognize that this is an unsettling time for everyone. However, we know that God is in control and that is where our hope comes from.
