      Stacy Roach

      Director

Stacy was born in Kentucky and has lived in Texas most her life.  She graduated from Texas State University in 2003 with a BS degree in Biology and Chemistry Minor.  Stacy has been married for 14 years and has 2 beautiful children.   Since Stacy was 11 years old she has loved watching and teaching kids.  Sprouts has given Stacy the opportunity of a lifetime she has been able to be a stay at home mom with benefits of getting to work outside her home.  It’s a WIN-WIN!  Stacy has worked at Sprouts since it opened in 2008.  She started with teaching 3 year olds and fell in love with preschoolers.  In 2010 she took over the role of being a 3’s teacher as well as the Co-Director.  Then in 2013 she took the position of being the Director of Sprouts Preschool.  Stacy believes that her job is super important.  Preschoolers are ready to learn and take in all of God’s creation and she believes that she can help Sprouts make a difference in the lives of the preschoolers in her community.   Her day is made when she sees a child light up because they have learned something new or have achieved something and built their confidence.  We are always blessed by each student at Sprouts and excited would be an understatement of what we are for this next school year.

      Chrystal Hills

      Teacher - 4B

My name is Chrystal Hills and I am thrilled to begin my first year at Sprouts!

I grew up in Fort Worth, Texas and graduated from Texas A&M University (Gig ‘Em Aggies!) with a degree in Education.  After a short stint teaching in Boston, I found myself agreeing with the infamous John Steinback quote, “A Texan outside Texas is a foreigner” and soon found my way back to the Lone Star State.   I met my husband and together we have welcomed two spunky and sweet boys.

Prior to becoming a proud boymom, I taught middle school for eight years.  I have been privileged to work in various school settings, from classical Christian schools to public schools.  My husband and I are active members in our church in Fort Worth, and I enjoy serving in our children’s church when needed.

Other than teaching, I am passionate about traveling around this beautiful world.  We thoroughly enjoy planning trips and have hopes of exposing our children to new places and experiences.   Books are also a passion of mine and I’m excited to help foster a love of reading for kids.  While traveling is our favorite hobby, we are thankful we get to raise our family in an area we love and enjoy exploring new places around the metroplex.

It’s a joy to be around young spirited minds and I’m looking forward to a great year together at Sprouts!

I was very involved in band at both my schools in Kansas City as well as the band at L. D. Bell. I am still playing my flute in our church orchestra every Sunday. I began my babysitting career at the age of 12 when my mom’s friends were in need of babysitters. In the fall of 2002, I began a small childcare service in my home taking care of newborns, beginning at six weeks old up to two year olds for the Shady Brook Elementary School teachers. I did that for 2 years plus I took care of other small children in my home.

I really enjoyed being able to work with everyone. In 2014 I transitioned into a teaching job within the school and this year will be my 4th year teaching in the 3B’s (Busy Bees) class.
